Conversions

short documentary

The work Conversions was conducted during my two week residency at the European Bauxite company . It is a triptych, which consists of a short documentary in dialogue with two video works. The short documentary is presenting one day of bauxite production from the heart of the mountains until the loading of a ship. The two videos are fragments of a performance I did based on the average daily wage of an employee.  My intention was to find the person within this huge mechanism.
